When Benefit launched their newest mascara Bad Gal Bang it definitely caused quite the stir. It seemed to divide the beauty nation with some saying it was the best mascara of all time & others saying it was awful.
This is My honest opinion & before i start I feel I need to mention that this post isn’t sponsored by Benefit Cosmetics UK & I purchased this product myself & as much as I would love to be an affiliate for this brand, I am not.
Now that that’s been cleared up, here’s my review.
I purchased the travel sized Bad Gal Bang mascara as I always buy my mascaras travel sized due to me not wearing mascara often, this one cost me £10.50 which I think is a reasonable price for a well known brand these days.
The product is very wet & does take a while to dry but I found that this worked in my favour as it meant that after I applied it I was able to go back through my lashes with a dry mascara wand to separate my lashes as this mascara definitely stuck them together at the base of my lashes, even though I made sure I removed plenty of excess product.
As you can see from the picture it does lift the lashes & create volume but if I hadn’t combed through them afterwards they definitely would have been stuck together.
I like how my lashes looked once I was finished applying it (as pictured) & once dried it did last 36hours which is exactly what it claimed it would do. I also had loads of comments on my lashes whilst wearing this mascara, with everyone thinking that I had had semi permanent lashes done.
So, if you love the false lash look Bad Gal Bang mascara is worth a try. It does take a few tries before you get to grips with the formula but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy.
