I love Autumn, it’s definitely my favourite season. I love the rich, earthy tones that the cooler weather brings. It provides so much inspiration for warm toned makeup looks. This year I’ve decided to photograph more of my makeup work & the products I use & create some tutorials for you all.
I featured this look on my Instagram & Facebook pages this week & it caused quite a stir, so I thought I would share it here with you all too.
I love how it turned out, the pictures I’m using have not re-touched or enhanced in any way either, just great natural lighting & I’m starting to figure out which angles work best for me. Unfortunately my face is still struggling with the spasms & I doubt my smile will ever be the same again, but that won’t stop me from doing what I love & acheiving my goals within this industry.
Enough about that though, here’s the mini tutorial.
I used the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette to create the eye makeup. These are the shades that I used after I applied Urban Decay original eyeshadow primer potion to the whole lids & up to my brows.
1) En Fuego applied into socket & slightly above crease.
2) Low Blow used to blend out edges of En Fuego & blended out towards the brow bone.
3) Ashes patted onto inner & outer parts of lid, leaving centre free of colour.
4) Chaser applied to centre of lid for the spotlight & inner corner as highlight.
The other products I used for my eyes were:
Tatti Lashes 3d Brazilian silk TL23
Benefit Goof Proof shade 5 & 24hour Brow Setter Gel
Rodial smokey eye pen in black
I also used the Mykitco Ultra Multi Duo brushes for blending out my shadows & they really made light work of all that blending.
