Let’s talk skincare

Following on from my last post, one of the biggest things that requires consistency is my skincare routine.

I have a terrible habit of losing interest & moving onto new products before giving them a chance to prove they work. So I decided to get a head start on solving this & purchased some products before Christmas ready to start a fresh in the new year.

The products I bought are all from the same cosmetics brand as they are formulated to work together. I also made sure I was getting the correct products for my skin type & age too.

I decided to buy the Anti Blemish 3step kit & the Moisture Surge gift set which contained the Moisture Surge 100H auto-replenishing hydrator, Moisture Surge Eye treatment, Moisture Surge Overnight Mask, & my favourite Moisture Surge Lip which is the only lip product that has ever stopped my lips from cracking & being chapped during winter!

These were purchased from my local House of Fraser store. The Moisture Surge gift set is no longer available but the products can still be purchased individually.

This was prior to starting the 3 step

My skin before starting the Anti Blemish 3step was awful, I had multiple breakouts all of my face that were from acne that was caused by my B12 injections. I started using it religiously morning & night a week before Christmas as I had an event to go to & in I started to see results after just 1 week.

As per usual after a couple of weeks I started to lapse in my routine & ended up back where I started. I was gutted, but it was my own fault. So I decided to make it my goal for the new year & that I would try my best to stick to a routine & I have been consistent ever since.

My morning skincare

I have seen a huge improvement in my skin as I’m now sticking to a routine morning & night. I don’t seem to be getting the breakouts all over my face anymore, they just seem to be limited to around my chin now but I am continuosly seeing improvements.

This week I even had a few request on my Instagram to film my skincare routine which you can see here My morning skincare routine the only difference between this & my evening routine is that I use the Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask aswell.

My skin as of yesterday

I’m going to continue to use these products as I really like them, they are definitely improving my skin & I genuinely enjoy using them.

I’m still going to look at adding a few more products to my skincare routine though as I suffer really bad with dark circles. They appear under my eyes throughout the day which is mainly because of my seizures & the fact they make me feel so tired. I’m not sure if anything could help to improve them but it’s worth a try.
